About
See it. Snap it. Never forget it. Wordnab turns the world around you into vocabulary that actually sticks. Point your camera at anything — your mug, your bike, your cat — and get the word in the language you're learning, with its translation, pronunciation and a real example sentence. Every word you catch becomes a stamp in your own collection. WHY IT WORKS Word lists fade. Moments don't. Learn "el gato" from a photo of your own cat and the word arrives with a picture, a place and a small story attached — and that is what memory holds on to. Wordnab is built around that from the very first tap. WHAT YOU GET • Learn from your own world — your kitchen, your street, your desk • Translation, IPA pronunciation and an example sentence for every word • Spaced repetition that brings each word back right before you'd forget it • Six ways to practise: quiz, spelling, listening, fill the gap, speaking, and a smart mixed session • Daily Review — two focused minutes that keep everything fresh • Word packs and an AI story of the day, written from the words you collected • XP, levels, streaks and stamp editions to unlock as you go • Word of the day widget for your Home Screen • 15 interface languages HOW IT WORKS 1. Snap anything around you. 2. Wordnab recognises it and gives you the word, translation, pronunciation and an example. 3. Practise until it's yours — the app decides when, you just show up. LANGUAGES YOU CAN LEARN English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai and Indonesian. FREE AND PREMIUM Your first words are free. Wordnab Premium unlocks unlimited captures, all six practice modes, example sentences, word packs, AI stories and every stamp edition. SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS Wordnab Premium is an auto-renewable subscription, available as a monthly or a yearly plan. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. What's new · 1.0.2
Mostly fixes this time, and most of them in your first few minutes with Wordnab — exactly where they got in the way. GETTING STARTED • Closing the app halfway through setup used to send you back to the very first screen. Now it picks up where you left off, with your answers still in place. • Once you've seen the subscription screen — subscribed or not — setup is done for good. Before, closing the app at the last step meant going through the whole questionnaire again. • Reinstalled with an active subscription? No more setup: pick your languages and you're in. • On iOS 27, setup could stop responding to taps, usually on the Get Started screen right after the tracking question. Fixed. • Going back to the name screen no longer brings up the keyboard over the Continue button. SPEAKING PRACTICE • Before iOS asks for your microphone, Wordnab now tells you why it needs it. • If microphone access is off, you get one clear message with a button straight to Settings, instead of the same alert on every tap. • If speech recognition isn't available for your language or the microphone is busy, the app says so instead of quietly doing nothing. • Voice mode is gone from the demo cards during setup, so no microphone prompts in your first minutes. YOUR WORDS AND PROGRESS • XP or your streak could occasionally fail to save when a practice session ended. Fixed. • If setup started over, the demo word could end up in your collection twice. Not anymore. • Subscribers no longer land on the subscription screen. Something broken, missing or worth arguing about? Write to support@99wrongturns.com. A person reads every one.
