ENTER INCH FRACTIONS Type a decimal, a simple fraction such as 3/8, or a mixed fraction such as 6 3/8 for rise, side offset and centerline radius. Valid fraction entries show an approximate decimal preview. Sweep stays a decimal entry; the number of shots stays a whole number. OFFSET Calculate mark spacing, geometric shrink and the angle multiplier from rise and bend angle. ROLLING OFFSET Combine rise and side offset to calculate the true offset, mark spacing, roll angle and geometric shrink. SEGMENT BEND Use centerline radius, total sweep and the number of equal shots to calculate developed arc length, spacing along the arc, bend angle per shot and the end-to-end chord. Fraction input accepts unsigned values within each field's range; decimal input uses a dot and up to six decimal places. Displayed inch fractions are rounded to the nearest 1/16 inch, and decimal previews and results are approximate. Fraction entry does not limit input to 1/16-inch increments.
