The pictures on this page needed fixing. The French, German and Korean captions still used a word we had replaced inside the app, and one of the iPad pictures came out blank. The app itself is unchanged this time.

About
Japan's transit system is the best in the world, and also the most confusing for first-time visitors. NipponGo cuts through the complexity so you can travel confidently from day one. HONEST JR PASS CALCULATOR The JR Pass costs ¥50,000+ for a 7-day ordinary pass. Is it worth it for your trip? Most Golden Route itineraries don't break even. NipponGo's calculator takes your actual route, runs the real fares, and gives you a clear verdict, with a buy link only when it genuinely saves you money. PER-LEG SUICA & JR PASS VALIDITY Every route leg shows you exactly which card works: "Suica OK", "JR Pass covers this", "Not on JR Pass". No more guessing at the gate. The detail other travel apps leave out. GOLDEN ROUTE COVERAGE Tokyo inner-city lines, Narita & Haneda airport connections, the Shinkansen to Kyoto and Osaka, Kyoto sightseeing by JR, Osaka subway, and the Hiroshima to Miyajima day trip including the JR ferry, with the exact card validity marked on every leg. SURVIVAL KIT: OFFLINE PHRASEBOOK Essential Japanese phrases for transit emergencies: lost tickets, wrong trains, asking for help. Works fully offline. If something goes wrong at the station, we walk you through it step by step. CLEAN AND HONEST No account to create, and no sign-up wall. No vaporware features: every screen in the app works, offline, on day one. What the app records is listed in full at iocodo.com/apps/nippongo/privacy.
