Pungar

About

Pungar is the companion app for a golf trip with your mates — the kind with a points table, a running argument, and money on it. One group, one trip, every round scored properly. SCORING THAT MATCHES HOW YOU ACTUALLY PLAY Stableford, strokeplay, net strokeplay, Texas scramble, better ball, match play and a putting competition — each scored in its own currency, not squeezed into one. An admin uploads the round's scorecards and the standings, points and handicap cuts follow automatically. A LEADERBOARD WITH YOUR RULES ON IT Your own points table, your own handicap system, your own bonuses and fines. Handicaps cut as players find form, at whatever rate your group decided. THE TEAM COMPETITIONS A Ryder-style team series across several rounds, a knockout cup with a losers' bracket, and two-man formats — all tracked, all settled, all visible to everyone. THE SIDE-BET LEDGER Record friendly wagers between players: match play, Nassau, front nine, most birdies and more. Each settles itself from the scorecards. At the end, Pungar works out the smallest set of payments that squares everybody up, and shows the bets behind every line. No money moves through the app — it is a record, nothing else. THE TRIP AS IT HAPPENED A feed with photos, results cards and the moments worth keeping. Hole-in-one, eagles, longest drive, closest to the pin. At the end of the trip, everyone gets a personal Wrapped: their best round, the hole that kept beating them, who they beat and who beat them, and the week's photographs. Pungar is built for private groups. You join a trip by invitation from its organiser.
