Daylight is the beautiful, delightful, all-in-one daily planner I always envisioned for my iPhone, and I hope you'll love it just as much. It's designed to make your day feel lighter, easier, and wrapped up neatly, yet contains powerful productivity features built in. It combines a daily affirmation, weather, to-dos, calendar events, and notes into one convenient dashboard view, so it's the only app you need to get started with your day. Everything surfaces right on your Today view, where the background changes as the day progresses to match the position of the sun in the sky. There are no lists or folders because life doesn't happen in lists, it happens in days. Your tasks, notes, and events are all assigned to days that you can page through to see what's coming next and when you have room to add more stuff in. Plus, tasks smartly roll over if you choose, so you can see incomplete tasks from previous days on your Today view too and reprioritize them for the new day. And speaking of nice touches, the app is filled with them. It has been a complete labor of love, from the randomized confetti for every task completion to the paper crumble when deleting a note to refining each and every pixel of the experience. Daylight is meant to make your day not only easier and more productive, but pleasant too. And it's all topped off with that daily affirmation to set a positive tone. • GESTURES AND CONVENIENCE • Short press a task to drag and drop it, long press to bring up a menu for repeating tasks, moving them, or selecting multiple. Describe an event using natural language to add it to your calendar rather than filling out a tedious form of information. Or shake your iPhone to undo a mistake you made. Just say something like "Dinner tomorrow at 8pm with Ashley" and Daylight will figure out what you mean. Add widgets to your home screen to see it all at a glance. It's all so simple, and it all just works harmoniously. There's also no separate login to worry about. Everything you put in Daylight saves and backs up automatically through your Apple account and iCloud and calendars sync with all your existing accounts already on your iPhone. • NO NOTIFICATIONS • And guess what? There are no notifications. Controversial? Of course. But we all get enough notifications, alerts, and reminders already. We don't need more noise.
