About

Luthier's Bench is a practical setup notebook for musicians, techs, and builders who want instrument records and workshop math in one place. Create instrument profiles with brand, model, type, scale length, tuning, string count, nut width, radius, photos, setup sessions, and service history. Use setup cards to track action, relief, gauges, wound/plain construction, intonation, and notes over time. Tools include: - Setup Health status for each instrument - Instrument profiles and service logs - Shareable setup cards - String tension analysis - Fret position ruler - Tuning and cents reference - Capo helper - Local export - Unit preferences for setup and tension measurements Setup Health summarizes whether an instrument is fresh, worth watching, due, or overdue based on its latest recorded setup. It gives a plain action cue so players and techs can prioritize bench checks before gigs, recording, seasonal movement, or heavier use. Luthier's Bench is local-first. It does not require an account, does not include analytics or advertising SDKs, and does not upload instrument records to a developer-run server.
