Thanks for using 5thsFlow! This update makes the app bigger, clearer and more accurate. NEW • Works on more screens. The layout now adapts to your screen, including foldable iPhones, iPad windows and iPhone in landscape. In portrait on wide screens, the wheel sits above the key details. • A bigger Circle of Fifths. The wheel is larger, with bigger key names and rings that are easier to read and tap. Taps between neighbouring keys now land on the nearest one. IMPROVED • Easier to tap. Transpose, sound, close, add-chord and saved-progression buttons now meet Apple's recommended touch size. • Better accessibility. Text now follows your Dynamic Type setting, VoiceOver describes more controls (including the minor keys on the wheel), and the wheel no longer spins when Reduce Motion is on. • Shorter screens. On smaller phones the key panel resizes so the wheel stays large, and its contents scroll when needed. FIXED • Correct note names in every key. Sharp keys now use proper spelling, so B major shows C sharp, D sharp, G sharp and A sharp instead of D flat, E flat, A flat and B flat. Borrowed chords use the right spelling too. • Mode brightness. The ratings now run correctly from Lydian (brightest) to Locrian (darkest). • Seventh chords. The 7th chord on the seventh degree is now correctly labelled half-diminished, matching what you hear. • Progression playback now uses the voicing you picked (7th, sus2, sus4, add9) instead of always playing triads. • Fixed a crash that could happen when opening and closing the key detector. • Fixed the intro animations stacking up and running more than once. • The app no longer flashes white when it launches.

About
5thsFlow is an interactive Circle of Fifths built for musicians, songwriters, and producers who want to understand music theory — not just memorize it. Tap any key on the wheel and instantly see its 7 diatonic chords, 7 modes, key signature, and relationships to every other key. Hear everything played back in real time with a warm, piano-style tone. EXPLORE ANY KEY • All 7 diatonic chords with Roman numerals, chord function, and quality • Toggle between major and relative minor — see Am as i, F as VI, and so on • 7 modes arpeggiated so you can hear their character: Dorian, Phrygian, Lydian, and more • Key signature, scale degrees, relative minor, dominant, and subdominant at a glance • Transpose up or down by semitone without losing your place CHORD VOICINGS & EXTENSIONS • Switch between Triad, 7th, Sus2, Sus4, and Add9 voicings for every chord • Hear exactly how extensions change the feel of a chord — from open and suspended to rich and jazzy • Borrowed chords from the parallel minor shown in every major key — modal interchange made visual and playable BUILD PROGRESSIONS • Add chords from any key into a sequencer • Set your BPM, toggle loop mode, and play it back • Save named progressions and reload them any time • Works across keys — mix chords from different keys in one progression FIND YOUR KEY • Know your chords but not the key? Tap them in and matching keys appear instantly • Or hold your phone up to an instrument — the mic detector listens and ranks the most likely keys by confidence in real time SOUNDS GREAT • Block or Strum chord playback style • Play the classic I–IV–V–I progression or the i–VI–III–VII minor progression with one tap • Haptic feedback that matches chord quality — major, minor, and diminished each feel different Whether you're a beginner learning which chords go together or a working musician who needs a fast reference on stage, 5thsFlow is the fastest path from question to answer. Designed for iPhone and iPad.
