Understand Bible

About

Understand Bible helps you read Scripture and understand what you are reading with simple study tools built for everyday use. Start with an offline Bible reader, then go deeper with verse explanations, grounded Bible questions, short lessons, and daily devotionals. The app keeps the Bible first: AI answers are study aids, not Scripture, and they are designed to cite the verses used. Features: - Read the World English Bible offline. - Continue where you left off and track your reading streak. - Tap a verse to explain it, bookmark it, highlight it, copy it, or add a private note. - Ask Bible questions and receive Scripture-grounded study-aid answers with cited verses. - Use short Learn lessons to review key Bible themes and passages. - Read daily devotionals in Grow. - Download public-domain Bible translations and use bilingual reading when available. - Buy optional AI credits in-app to power AI study-aid answers. Privacy-first study: Bible reading works without an account. Notes, highlights, bookmarks, and reading activity are local to your device unless you choose features that require the backend. Cloud AI calls are optional and send only your prompt plus the Bible passages needed to ground the answer. AI explanations are study aids and may require pastoral or scholarly review. Optional AI credits: AI credits are an optional, one-time (non-subscription) in-app purchase used to power AI study-aid answers. Bible reading and every core feature work without any purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
