About
Macanan brings the traditional Indonesian and Javanese tiger-and-goats board game to phones and tablets. Two tigers hunt a herd of twenty goats on the “two mountains and a village” board. The two sides require completely different strategies: tigers jump over goats to capture them, while goats work together to surround and trap both tigers. FEATURES • Play as the powerful tigers or the clever goats • Place goats, plan moves, jump, capture, and build traps • Tigers win by capturing five goats • Goats win by trapping both tigers • Two-player pass-and-play on one device • Solo play against the computer • Easy, Medium, and Hard difficulties • Optional Kid Mode with stronger hints • Learn planning, logic, counting, and spatial reasoning • No advertisements or subscriptions • No accounts or data collection • Fully playable offline • Available in 11 languages Designed for children, families, classrooms, and strategy-game fans. Discover a traditional game from Indonesia and see whether the hunters or the herd will win.

We fixed an issue that could prevent a match from ending when the current side had no legal move. This update also improves Indonesian wording and includes general gameplay refinements.
