About
Tone is a chromatic tuner that does one thing well: tell you the pitch — clearly and instantly. No ads. No accounts. No sign-up. No analytics. Open it and play. WHAT IT DOES • Hears any note from your instrument and shows the note, octave, and how many cents sharp or flat you are. • Reads like a real tuner: an analog needle that swings with the pitch and stands upright the moment you're in tune. • Turns a single accent color the moment you're in tune, with a gentle haptic tap — keep your eyes on the instrument, not the screen. • Adjustable reference pitch: A4 from 415 to 466 Hz. • Reference tone (tuning fork): switch to FORK mode, pick any note and octave, and play a clean sustained tone to tune by ear — no microphone needed. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Audio is processed entirely on your device and is never recorded, saved, or sent anywhere. Tone works fully offline and contains no third-party tracking. DESIGNED FOR iOS A native interface built like a piece of hardware, with VoiceOver and Dynamic Type support. Tune a guitar, violin, cello, wind instrument, or anything with a clear pitch.
