• New season — the 2026-27 squads of Europe's big five leagues: updated clubs and new faces. • Grid — every squad player now counts as an answer, not just the stars. The more obscure your pick, the more the cell is worth. • The daily puzzle and Rush still draw on the players you actually know. • Bug fixes and polish.

About
Guess the mystery footballer in 8 tries — a new player every day. Footle is the daily football guessing game for true fans. Each guess reveals color-coded clues about the secret player: league, club, country, position and age. Green is an exact match, yellow is close, grey is a miss. Use the hints to close in and crack the player before you run out of guesses. GAME MODES • Daily Challenge — one new mystery footballer every day. Build a streak. • Rush — a five-minute sprint. Clues reveal over time and every correct answer adds 30 seconds. Solve as many as you can and score points for speed. • Grid — a new 3×3 every day. One player per cell, matching its row AND its column. Nine guesses, and the rarer your answer the more it scores. • Archive — missed a day?
