MTA SmartMove allows passengers to move around Genesee County the way they choose to. Within the app you can book rides with MTA's Your Ride, Rides to Wellness, and the new Genesee Connect services right from the convenience of your mobile device. HOW DO I KNOW WHICH SERVICE TO USE? Your Ride operates throughout all of Genesee County. While it is open to the general public, the main purpose of Your Ride is to provide paratransit rides for passengers who are unable to use fixed route bus service. Your Ride requires you to book in advance. Please see the MTA website for more details. MTA's latest service Genesee Connect offers a new way to get around Flint — a ridesharing service that’s smart, easy, affordable, and green. With a few taps, you can book an on-demand ride in the app, and our technology will pair you with other people headed your way. Easy connections to MTA’s primary routes allow access to much of Genesee County. Genesee Connect is a zone based service. While it is open to the general public, your origin and destination address must be within the zone to receive service. Once in the zone, you can request a ride within the app, and a vehicle will come get you! Want to travel outside the zone? Simply book a trip to connect you to one of MTA’s primary routes and off you’ll go! For more information on this service or MTA’s primary route services, please visit the MTA website. BOOK A RIDE: To book a ride, simply select the service you'd like to ride with and book a ride. Simple and to the point! SERVICE HOURS: Your Ride - 6:30 AM to 10:30 PM Monday through Saturday, and 9 AM to 7:30 PM on Sunday Rides to Wellness - 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday Genesee Connect - 6 AM to 9 PM Monday through Saturday, and 7 AM to 7 PM on Sunday Questions?
