Give the breakdown its own tempo, put the last one in another key, and switching racks live carries both across on the bar line. A new rack starts from the one you were standing on, so nothing changes until you want it to. More machines in the CC library It nearly doubled. A hundred and thirty two instruments from twenty two makers now load their real control map, each one read out of its own manual: Roland, Korg, Sequential, Oberheim, Yamaha, Behringer, Teenage Engineering, Sonicware, Modal, Dreadbox, ASM, Strymon and more. The chart also walks you through getting a controller talking to the app, step by step. Fixes Your saved projects show up again after updating. Nothing was ever lost, the shelf just would not draw. And a shelf that cannot be read comes back on its own instead of being saved over empty. A crash that could happen while one rack played and you looked at another. Music from the first tap, not an empty grid. Sequentia is a generative sequencer for hardware synths, drum machines and your DAW. Add a few modules and they write their own parts, in one key and one tempo. Then you play them while everything runs. No gear yet? The sound is built in and free. Start on the phone and plug the hardware in later. Play it, don't program it Hit Random and you have a pattern worth keeping. Turn on Mutate and it evolves as it plays. Drop a fill, swing it, humanize it, chop it. Nothing stops to be edited. Every module keeps pattern slots. Fill them as you go, then switch between them on the bar, like clips. Live Performer gives you one pad for the whole rack. Move your finger and every module answers at once: more density, new variations, a break. That is your arrangement, played rather than drawn. Scenes and racks Save a section as a scene, put the scenes in order, and the timeline plays your track. Or jump around by hand while it runs. The last bar of a scene can be a fill. A project holds several racks. Change the whole rack live on the bar, and build the next one while this one is playing. Your synth's knobs, on the phone Pick your machine from the library and its real control map loads, ready to turn. Over sixty synths, grooveboxes and drum machines, every map read out of its own manual rather than guessed at. Arm the red R, turn a knob, and that move becomes a loop, locked to the bar with everything else. Filter sweeps that run forever, without touching your synth's own sequencer. It works the other way too. CC coming in turns the app's own knobs, so Random, Mutate, mutes and the transport sit under your hands. The modules Acid, for 303 lines that really slide. Bass, in sixteen genre flavours, from techno to EBM to upright. Drums, eight lanes deep, with the swing each genre actually has, and your own samples when you want them. Chords and Arp, in your key, following each other. Stabs, from skank to rave. Piano, drawn by hand or written for you. Euclid, three rings at different lengths, drifting apart and landing together bars later. Rain, notes falling from a drizzle to a downpour. Mod, LFOs sweeping your synth's knobs on their own. Vinyl, a record that turns while the rack plays. Mixer, to solo, mute and balance everything live. Built for hardware MIDI over USB-C, Bluetooth or network. Every module picks its own device and channel, so a rack of synths each get their own part. MIDI Clock keeps your gear in time with the app. In Logic, Ableton and any other DAW, Sequentia appears as a MIDI source you can record straight onto a track. Walk away from the app and the music keeps playing, with the controls on your Lock Screen. Save projects, export to .mid, and build your own libraries of patterns and presets. A project saves itself and keeps its own cover. Undo goes back a hundred steps, and a shake takes back the last one. Sequentia is free, and so is the sound, Live Performer and CC Control.
