Rigwise: Rigging Calculator

About

Rigwise is the rigging calculator built for the field — fast, correct, fully offline, and a one-time purchase. No subscription. No account. No internet required. Your data never leaves your phone. Built for crane riggers, signal persons, ironworkers, and anyone who plans a lift. THE CALCULATORS (always free) • Sling Tension — see how the load in each leg climbs as the sling angle drops. Enter the angle, or just the sling length and height. Clear red warning below 30°. • Working Load Limit — vertical, choker, and basket hitches, with the angle and D/d reduction factors applied. • Center of Gravity — find how much each pick point actually carries when the load is off-center. • Crane Capacity % — check your load against the chart capacity, with a warning when you're over. Every result shows a plain-language safety state, glove-readable, in light or dark. RIGWISE PRO — the studio (one-time purchase, yours forever) • Gear inventory — log your slings, shackles, chains, and hooks with their tagged WLL. • Inspection tracking — Rigwise flags gear that's overdue for inspection before you grab it. • Lift Plans — save a named lift; Rigwise re-computes the numbers from your inputs so a saved plan is never a stale, hand-typed figure. • Field-ready export — share a clean lift-plan summary with your crew. WHY RIGWISE • Works 100% offline — job sites don't have signal. • One-time purchase — the tools you paid for keep working, forever. • Private by design — no account, no tracking, nothing collected. • Correct — the math is deterministic and exhaustively tested against standard rigging practice. SAFETY Rigwise is a calculation aid. Always verify every result against the manufacturer's tag, the load chart, and a qualified person. It is not a substitute for an engineered lift plan or professional judgment. Rigging is inherently hazardous; you are solely responsible for the safety of any lift.
