Master Hungarian with a pocket-sized reference and drill companion built for serious learners. Whether you're preparing for the Hungarian language naturalisation exam or building fluency from scratch, Hungarian Quick Reference keeps the rules at your fingertips and the drills sharp. We built this app for ourselves to learn the Hungarian language, because we couldn't find an existing reference that had all the features and information we wanted. We're now publishing it as a free app in the hopes it is helpful to you, too. Look up conjugation tables for any verb - present, past, conditional, future, and imperative - generated on the fly from a complete rule engine that handles vowel harmony, sibilant stems, -ik verbs, and irregular verbs. Browse case suffixes, declensions verbal prefixes, possessive paradigms, and vowel harmony rules, all in one place. Contribute to curated vocabulary sections, review and learn with flash cards, and learn pronunciation with built-in text-to-speech, and use a built-in dictionary to discover new words you want to learn. Test yourself with multiple-choice grammar drills targeted to specific verb classes, cases, possessives, and more. A dedicated vocabulary drill randomly asks you to translate Hungarian → English or English → Hungarian. The app tracks which questions you get wrong and prioritises them in future sessions. Your custom vocabulary words, flashcard ratings, and drill history sync automatically across all your Apple devices via iCloud.
