ShakeLock - Shake to Unblock

About

You unlock your phone. Before you know it, 30 minutes of TikTok are gone. ShakeLock adds one tiny physical hurdle — a shake — to every app that hooks you. Just enough to break the autopilot. WHO IT'S FOR - People who lose hours to YouTube, Reels, TikTok, X - Students and workers who need real focus, not just willpower - Anyone who tried Screen Time and watched themselves tap "Ignore Limit" - Digital detox, dopamine reset, attention training HOW IT WORKS 1. Pick the apps you want to limit (YouTube, X, Instagram, TikTok, games, anything) 2. When you tap them, a "Locked" shield appears instead 3. Tap the notification, then shake your phone to unlock 4. Keep shaking — the ring fills up. Stop, and it drains. Continuous energy, not a step counter. 5. Hit 100% and the app finally opens WHAT MAKES IT WORK - 3 difficulty levels (Easy / Normal / Hard) — tune shake intensity, fill time, and drain rate to your own resistance - After unlocking, the app stays open for your chosen cooldown (e.g., 5 min). Auto-relocks when time's up. - Built on iOS Screen Time / Family Controls — the lock is real, not a screen overlay - Optional: watch a rewarded ad to skip the shake (still better than thoughtless taps) - Interstitial every 3rd unlock keeps the app free PREMIUM (monthly subscription) - No ads - "Watch ad to open instantly" — unlimited - "Temporary unlock from Settings" — unlimited - "Delete penalty ads" skipped (you can remove locked apps without watching 3 rewarded ads) PRIVACY - Uses Family Controls, Notifications, Shortcuts permissions - No personally identifying data collected - Full policy linked in-app This isn't another willpower app. It's a 1-second physical interruption that lets your conscious self catch up to your thumb. Try it for a day — you'll feel the difference. Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
