What's new in 1.3.51: Guides on the map: • New guides button on the map: see guides with places in view, pick one, and the map and recs narrow to it. • The recs pill names the guide you’re in, with a one-tap clear. • Each guide shows who made it, with “by {name} · N places here” and an “open guide” link. • New “your recs” avatar button to show your own recs on the map. Radar and location: • The location button responds right away, shows a pulse while it finds you, and now turns off when you move the map away from where you are. • “Near me” and “show your recs” widen to the nearest places when nothing is in view, instead of leaving an empty map. • Community places now appear on Ibiza, Menorca, Mallorca and Formentera. • Cards read “from {name}” and “new from {name}”, and the guide picker shows who made each guide. Polish: • Swiping a new-rec card up now dismisses it instead of opening the place. • Island names are easier to read in dark mode. • The profile photo no longer flashes the Google photo on launch. • The wide-screen guide panel matches the phone’s dark look. • Fixes across the map buttons and layout.
