Soloist Trumpet: Learn & Play

About

Learn Bb trumpet the way the instrument actually works: written notes, sounding pitch, valves, and harmonic partials kept in one clear system. START WITH A TRUSTWORTHY FIRST NOTE • Follow 32 sequenced lessons from written low C through open G, first lip slurs, scales, articulation, range, and coordination. • See the valve combination and partial beside the note you read. • Hear guide audio at the correct sounding concert pitch for a Bb trumpet. FEEDBACK THAT CAN SAY ‘NOT SURE’ Soloist measures usable pitch and attack evidence on your device. If the room is too quiet, noisy, or unstable, it leaves the note ungraded instead of inventing a mistake. It never guesses which valves you pressed or claims to diagnose your embouchure, tongue, or breath support. PRACTICE THAT DOES NOT RUN OUT • Play 111 rights-cleared melodies and original trumpet studies. • Slow the tempo, loop the difficult bar, and practise with brass guide playback and a steady pulse. • Capture one melody line from a file, a hum, or a live source; transcription stays on your device. • Use a native iPad practice room that puts the score, valve card, evidence, and controls to work on the wider screen. A FINGERING CHART THAT KNOWS THE HORN • Every written note from low F# to double-high C, with its valves and partial. • Tap Hear it for the concert pitch a Bb trumpet actually sounds. • See which notes tend to run sharp or flat on a typical horn and what to do about it: low D and C# want the 3rd-valve slide, the E in the top space of the staff sits a little flat. • Real alternate fingerings, and one tap to the tuner to check your own horn.
