SOMETHING TO PLAY FOR, PAST THE SUPERNOVA Two reviews said the same thing from opposite ends of the world. From the UK: "when you get further into the game it doesn't really lead to anything anymore… it feels like you're just watching the game rather than playing it." From Japan: the cores you earn from prestige stop growing, and there is nothing left to spend them on. They were describing the same arithmetic. This update answers it. GALAXIES Bank Neutron Cores and found a Galaxy. It takes your cores, your supernovae and your Forge Works — and pays Stellar Mass, which buys none of them back. Stellar Mass buys structure instead: more contracts offered each run, and your cheapest Forge Works carried through the reset. It never buys production. That is deliberate — a bigger number would be swallowed by the prestige bar within one detonation, which is how the endgame emptied out in the first place. CONTRACTS Every run now offers three optional constraints. Detonate having bought almost no research. Detonate owning a single generator tier. Detonate on stardust you actually played for. Meet one and keep the photons; ignore all three and you have lost nothing. They are shown on the detonate screen with a tick as you satisfy them, so a run has something to aim at besides the bar. TAP TO DETONATE Holding for three seconds, every single run, was three seconds too many. There is now a switch in Settings. All of it is translated into the same 33 languages, including the new screens. ONE FIX WORTH NAMING A player wrote: "I think I broke the game… in 1 hour I went from 1 supernova to 22 and I have 600 photons." They hadn't broken anything — the bonus for buying a tier's first unit was paying again on every single run, so short runs turned it into a tap. It now pays once per tier, for reaching somewhere you have not been. Photons you already hold are yours.

About
Fuse hydrogen into a living star. Grow it. Then blow it up — on purpose. SUPERNOVA is a premium-feel idle game about running a cosmic forge. Tap to spark fusion, build 12 generators from Hydrogen Wisp to Singularity Seed, and watch your star physically evolve — protostar, blue giant, red supergiant — until it is ready to collapse. Detonating it is the point: every supernova grants Neutron Cores, permanent power that makes each new universe faster than the last. WHY YOU'LL STAY • Real progress while you're away — production continues offline (extend the cap up to 24 hours with research), and a welcome-back doubler greets your return • A star that actually changes — five visual stages, rendered live, no canned art • Prestige that feels like a finale — a hand-built supernova cinematic, then a stronger start • Numbers that get gloriously big — Million, Septillion, and far beyond • Milestones every few minutes early on, deep multiplier stacking later • Daily missions and streaks that respect your time • 20 research upgrades that shape every run FAIR BY DESIGN • No ads. None. • No energy bars, no forced waits, no progress walls • Fully offline — no account, no sign-in, no internet required • Nothing collected, nothing tracked • Optional purchases exist (time warps, photons, a one-time Supporter Pack), and the entire game is balanced to be completed without spending anything THE LOOP 1. Tap your star and let generators forge Stardust 2. Hit ownership milestones — each one doubles a generator's output 3. Buy research, stack a Photon Surge boost, fill your Piggy Bank 4. Reach collapse readiness... and go SUPERNOVA 5. Keep your Neutron Cores forever. Start again, faster. Built by a solo developer in SwiftUI and SpriteKit. Every pixel is procedural — no asset packs, no stock art. Dark theme, tuned haptics, Reduce Motion respected. Your first universe is waiting. It starts with one atom.
