IMPROVED • Discover details put the like heart beside the title, just like the feed, so the hex codes get the room they deserve FIXED • Tap the heart on an open palette and it fills instantly, count and all. No more wondering if the like landed • Liking a palette opened from a shared link now works, even before it appears in your feed Huedrop is young, and every rating genuinely helps other color lovers find it. About
Huedrop is the home for your colors. Catch one with your camera, keep it forever, share it as a beautiful card. Everyone's seen a color they didn't want to lose: late-afternoon light on a brick wall, the exact green of a gum leaf, that perfect paint shade in a cafe. Huedrop catches it in seconds, gives it a friendly name, and keeps it in a library that's a joy to wander back through. CATCH • Point the camera and watch colors name themselves, live • Pick colors from any photo with a zoomable loupe • Pull a five-color palette out of a photo with one tap, or straight from the share sheet • Honest accuracy: exposure and white-balance lock, lighting coaching, and a confidence score on every catch. We never pretend a phone camera is a lab instrument KEEP • A library that feels like yours: sort by recency or hue, search by name or code, organize with tags • Group colors into jars: kitchen remodel, autumn walks, wedding ideas • Keep your library in sync across your devices with iCloud • Nothing is ever lost: undo, plus a 30-day Recently Deleted • Color of the Day and streaks, for the collectors CREATE • Build harmonies from any color: complementary, analogous, triadic and more • Check WCAG contrast for accessible color pairings • Export colors and palettes as PNG, PDF, ASE or a hex list • Keep a favorite palette on your Home Screen with widgets SHARE • Turn any catch into a beautiful card and post it anywhere • Copy HEX, RGB, HSL or OKLCH with a tap FOR EVERYONE • Full VoiceOver support on every screen • Color-blind-friendly descriptions ("warm red-orange") on every color • Spoken color names, Dynamic Type, and a high-contrast mode FAIR • Free forever: catching, keeping, naming, palettes and your library • No ads. No account. No tracking. Works completely offline • Pro is a one-time purchase: unlimited jars and tags, every share-card template, export, harmonies and contrast, and iCloud sync • Pro+ is an optional monthly subscription that adds on-device AI mood and color naming, plus subject-aware palettes Your colors stay on your device. Photos are never uploaded, analytics are anonymous, and there's nothing to sign up for. Catch a color. It takes about two seconds, and it's strangely lovely.
