Mettle is a free walking game where your steps are your weapon. Join a squad with your friends, take on monsters together, and level up as a team. Every real-world step you take deals damage, and every monster you defeat earns coins to recruit new heroes, like the mage, swordsman, archer and bard. Walk more, and your heroes level up and hit harder. How it works: - Pick your starting hero. When you walk in real life, your hero deals damage to monsters. - Join or create a squad and fight side by side with friends, wherever they are. - Take on a weekly expedition: a new monster every day and a boss every Sunday. - Go on hunts: forays and bounties with 47+ monsters, solo or with your squad. - Level up your squad to unlock emblems, banners, more members and tougher monsters. - Join the Weekly World Raid, where every player fights one giant boss together. - Add friends and challenge them to step duels. - Steps sync from Apple Health and hit the monster automatically, even while the app is closed. - Collect heroes across 24 lines, feed them XP from your walking, and evolve them into rarer forms. - Climb the leaderboard for today, this week, this month and all time. - No ads. Just you, your friends and a lot of walking! Note from the creator: Hey, I’m Daniel, and I built Mettle to motivate my family and friends to walk more and stay active. The first week of testing was a complete success. Everyone was hooked and genuinely making an effort to walk more to defeat the monsters together, level up their heroes, and climb the leaderboard. I designed and built Mettle entirely on my own. My goal now is to share it with any group that wants to stay active together. Happy walking!

Hey Mettlers! This update is packed with exciting new features. I've been working hard on these - I appreciate all your feedback as usual. A new Halloween expedition, inspired by Washington Irving's classic tale. Walk through a haunted valley on Halloween night and face a Scarecrow, a Jack-o'-Lantern, a Witch, a Sheet Ghost, Vampire Bats and a Ghoul. And on Sunday, the Headless Horseman himself rides out. A new hero line. Sweep the Halloween expedition to unlock it: Trick-or-Treater, evolving to All Hallows. Three new limited-time Halloween event forays are also here: Murder of Crows, Candleling and Grave Robbers. Introducing Feats: 72 feats to collect across heroes, expeditions, hunts, steps, squads and more. Find them on Home and see how many you can earn. Introducing Squad Camp: watch your squad's heroes hang out together at camp, now featuring the Halloween event. They chat, dance by the fire, high-five and cheer when your steps come in. Open our squad's Members tab to see it. Notifications: New in-game feeds for you, your squad and your battles, so you never miss the action. This update also contains tons of bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements: • Monsterbook: A new grid view and filters. • Stats: Redesigned, with your week, your best day, 10K days, streaks and more. • Languages: Mettle now supports Portuguese (Brazil) and French. • And a bunch of bug fixes!
