About
Bonsaiku is a calm, lifelong care journal for your bonsai - built for the patience the art deserves. Unlike generic plant apps, Bonsaiku tunes care to YOUR tree: its species, your climate, and the season. A maple in Oslo isn't a maple in Seville, and Bonsaiku knows the difference. WHAT YOU CAN DO - Log every care task in seconds - watering, fertilizing, pruning, wiring, repotting, pinching, defoliation, pest care, winter protection - with photos. - Get smart watering reminders, with an interval suggested from the species and season. - Follow a season x climate care calendar: the right task at the right time for each tree (the feature no other app does well). - Watch your trees change with a photo progression timeline and before/after slider. - Learn from a 50+ species guide: light, watering, hardiness, common mistakes, and a full year-round plan. - Keep your whole collection organized: styles, age, provenance, pots, tools, and value. - Frost alerts warn you the evening before a cold night. CALM BY DESIGN A quiet, washi-paper aesthetic with a contemplative dark mode. No nagging, no noise - just gentle, seasonal guidance. PRIVATE & OFFLINE-FIRST Start instantly, no account. Your data stays on your device, with optional iCloud sync. ACCESSIBLE Full VoiceOver, Voice Control, Dynamic Type to 200%+, Dark Mode, high-contrast support, and Reduce Motion.
