• Continue carries you through your whole day. One tap on the day's Continue now runs every sitting in your plan in turn, instead of stopping after one and sending you back to start the next. • Your phrases, in your practice. A phrase you save now comes round on its own in transcribe, dictate and translate, about once a day each. Everyone starts with one, "Could you speak a little slower?", so you can see how it works. • Building a sentence from tiles? Reveal now puts every tile in its place, so you see the answer where it belongs, then move on to the next. • More variety from day one. Sentence drills draw on a shared library of ready-voiced sentences, so your first sittings are full and varied. • New to Chinese? The tour opens by building your first sentence from tiles, then hands you to your first review. A speaking step can be passed when you can't talk right now, and every sentence drill has a Skip. • Word audio, re-checked voice by voice. Every pronunciation clip was listened to again in its own voice and dialect. Nearly every clip that said more than the word, or was spoken by a different voice, has been replaced; the last few follow. • One allowance, shared, and one bar to show it: grading and audio draw on one pot, and your usage reads as the share of the month's allowance you've used. • The plan wizard opens in the middle: both sliders centred and emphasis Balanced, and you lean it from there. • Fixes: voice previews animate again and the Listen card no longer flashes at the start or end of a clip; "Restore my custom plan" appears the moment you move a dial; a long drill prompt is no longer pushed off the top of the screen; the space under a short conversation scrolls again; and the tour's text sits higher, with its note set in from the edges.

About
Recognizing a word is not the same as being able to use it. Cards advance through production: you compose the target word into your own sentence, and a language model evaluates that sentence for comprehension, accuracy, and complexity before the word moves forward in your review schedule. Four axes of mastery Real language is multimodal, so Menzi tracks every word across four axes: meaning, reading, listening, and speaking. A word counts as mastered only when you understand it, can read it, catch it in speech, and say it out loud. Extend that across thousands of words and fluency emerges. Grammar, not just vocabulary Words are the building blocks; patterns hold them together. Menzi includes a structured library of high-frequency grammar patterns with their own practice and progress tracking, so you’re building sentences instead of stacking nouns. Your vocabulary is the material Menzi doesn’t teach from a fixed corpus. Your deck is what everything is generated from: stories, listening sentences, grammar drills, and the tutor’s own conversation are all built from words you already hold, with a deliberate margin of new ones mixed in. You set that margin. Pull a story toward the familiar and it reads almost entirely in words you know; push it the other way and it stretches you. This is comprehensible input in the technical sense, and it is hard to come by any other way — material at your exact level has to be made for one person. Nothing you meet gets lost Every sentence you write, story you read, and conversation you hold is scanned for words you haven’t formally studied. Each one is filed into a backlog with a count of how often you’ve met it, so the words you keep running into rise toward the front on their own. They arrive at a pace you can absorb. New words enter your deck only as your schedule has room for them, measured against what is already due — so exposure can run ahead of study without your daily review turning into a wall. What you meet in the practice Menzi generates becomes the material the next round is generated from. Immersive practice • Talk with a live AI tutor that guides you toward correct production with feedback as you go • Transcribe spoken sentences built from your exact vocabulary • Read and listen to stories with audiobook-style read-along playback, the spoken word highlighted as it goes Analytics that keep up with you See every word you’ve met and how well you know it, plus learning rate over time, listening minutes, and more. Menzi subscriptions Your first three finished days are free; continuing then requires a subscription. Two auto-renewing subscriptions. Menzi Casual is $7.99 per month, including 8M AI credits and 10 minutes of audio each month. Menzi Pro is $19.99 per month, including 20M AI credits and 30 minutes of audio each month. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you can manage or cancel it in your Apple ID account settings.
