New - Sort tracks in the Library and in folders by name or by date added. The sort button above the track list (at the top of the screen inside a folder) sets the order and its direction — A to Z / Z to A, oldest or newest first. The choice applies to the Library and every folder, and is kept across launches. - Swipe a track left and an Info (i) button sits next to Delete. It shows the file name and location, size, format and codec, dates added and modified, sample rate, bit depth, channels, bitrate, and tags such as album artist, year, track number and composer. Improved - Deleting a track or a folder with a swipe now asks first. For a track of a CUE album kept in one file, it says that the whole file goes. - On iPad, importing with the + button while inside a folder puts the files in that folder. They used to land at the top of the Library. - On iPad, the folder (...) menu no longer repeats Import Files, which the + button above already offers. Fixed - On an iPad held upright, choosing New Folder in the Library showed the folder-name prompt and closed it at once. - On iPad, rotating between portrait and landscape with a folder open in the Library dropped you back at the top of the Library. - On iPad, importing a file from iCloud Drive could finish downloading, close the picker and still leave the file out of the Library. The copy now waits until the file is fully on the device, and a copy that comes across incomplete is reported as a failure. - Choosing a target rate in Settings that the output can't run at made upsampling look active when it wasn't. On the built-in speaker, fixed at 48 kHz, picking 192 kHz widened the spectrum to 96 kHz while the output stayed at 48 kHz. Changing the setting now checks the output too, and plays at the source rate when the target isn't supported. - The upsampling badge and the signal path now show whether upsampling is actually running, not whether the setting is on. Playback at the source rate shows no badge.
