Quirky US Explorer offers a unique take on a travel app. Of course, it will allow you to track where you've been and where you want to go. But it will also let you look at unique locations in those areas. The locations included have been hand-selected by me - not using AI. This offers my unique take on exploring the US and its many quirky locations. So you'll get a chance to delve into my mind and see the things that I find interesting across the US. I will do my best to not scare you away. All of them come with an image and description (usually lighthearted and a bit silly) so you know what to expect. The app uses the native Apple Maps in order to keep the experience easy to use and familiar, while still adding little twists and fun tweaks. Selecting a state will bring up a scratch-off card before you can see the details in the state. But there is also a list of states that allows you to drag them into the categories they fit into - whether you have visited them, or want to visit them in the future. Then you get to the locations. They are organized by states - either all states, or just the states you've already scratched off. They are also searchable in order to make finding places quick and easy. The locations included contain a variety of sites all across the country. There are museums, parks, statues, art installations, natural structures, historical sites, and many other quirky locations that defy description. Some sample sites that are already included: - Whale Bone Arch in Alaska - Rita the Rock Planter in Colorado - Planet Word in Washington, DC - Idaho Potato Museum in ummm... yeah, Idaho - Biggest Ball of Twine in Minnesota which is strangely located in Minnesota - Mothman Museum in West Virginia
