Rakou: Golf Swing Practice

About

Hold your phone like a club, square it to your line and swing for real. The ball starts where its face pointed. 18 holes, a real putting stroke, a streak to keep. THE PHONE IS THE CLUB Hold it like a grip and swing for real. On a full swing, where the phone's face pointed at impact decides where the ball starts and which way it curves, and your hand speed against your own usual sets how far it goes. Open it and it slices. Square it and it flies straight. PUTT LIKE YOU MEAN IT Point the camera at a coin or a cup to set your line. Square the phone up by feel: it taps until you are on line. Then putt. Rakou reads your rhythm, whether you accelerated through the ball, how steady the stroke was, and where the phone's face pointed at impact. The ball rolls on the hole's green from there. 18 HOLES, PLAYED WITH YOUR OWN SWING Rakou National is 18 holes, each built around a decision golfers get wrong. Pick your club and your target from your own bag, then make the swing. Watch the ball fly across the hole, and finish every hole on a poster of your route, your score and your stats. Clear a hole to open the next. DRILLS THAT MEASURE SOMETHING · The metronome: a smooth 3-to-1 rhythm, timed by the phone in your hand · The mirror: your posture face on, read by the camera · Fix videos for the one thing your swing reading says to work on YOUR SWING, READ Film from behind, on the target line. Rakou finds your address, takeaway, top, downswing and impact, and checks ten points against your own body: hip hinge, knee bend, arm hang, hand path, posture at the top, backswing length, hand depth at the top, downswing path, head at impact and posture through the ball. You get a score out of 10, a replay that stops at every checkpoint, and one clear priority with a drill for it. YOUR GOLF, WORTH SHOWING · A practice streak and every day you practised, on one page · Time practising, holes played and yards of golf, counted for real · Every hole you have cleared, as its painted plate · Share any of it, or save it to Photos YOUR WEEK, PLANNED Pick the days you can practise. Each one has a tee time waiting for you, and at the end of the week you see which days you kept. HONEST BY DESIGN Rakou only shows what your phone can actually measure. In Rakou the phone is the club, so it reads the phone's face, never a real clubface it cannot see. Speed is shown against your own usual, never as a made-up club speed. The ball is simulated. What moves it is measured. YOUR SWING STAYS ON YOUR PHONE Your swing videos stay on your device. No account needed: your username is the only thing you choose to share. RAKOU PRO Rakou is free to download and your first swing reading is free. To keep practising, join Rakou Pro: unlimited swing analysis, every drill, all 18 holes and your practice plan.
