Poised 1.6 • See exactly what Pro adds: deep quoted debriefs, Tough mode, your exact conversation, and room for 40 AI replies a week. • The yearly free trial now shows what happens each day, and Poised can remind you two days before it renews. • Rehearsals now connect through Poised's own address, so the service can keep improving without an app update. • The permission screen explains in plain words what is shared and how to withdraw it. • Easier to read and tap: stronger contrast, larger tap targets, and text that wraps instead of cutting off at large sizes.

About
Practice the conversation before it happens. Poised is a private rehearsal coach for the conversations you don't want to improvise: job interviews, asking for a raise, setting a boundary, giving hard feedback, relationship talks, and first conversations. HOW IT WORKS 1. Pick one of 45 built-in situations, or describe your exact conversation with Pro. 2. Speak or type, and choose how hard the other person pushes: Gentle, Realistic, or Tough. 3. Rehearse against realistic follow-up questions and resistance. 4. Get a debrief built on your own words: what worked, what to sharpen, and the exact line to try next. COACHING WITH SUBSTANCE Poised grades what you said against a scenario-specific rubric and proven communication frameworks, and separately measures delivery on your device: pace, pauses, filler words, and hedging. Five short guides cover BATNA and anchoring, Radical Candor, Nonviolent Communication, STAR stories, and clear boundaries. START FREE Browse every situation and guide. Free includes five rehearsal starts, 12 AI replies, five basic debriefs, and 12 spoken replies in a rolling seven days. Each use comes back seven days after you use it. No account or card needed. POISED PRO • Deep, quoted debriefs with Clarity, Empathy, and Assertiveness scores • The exact next line and a coach hint for your next attempt • Tough mode and custom situations built from your real conversation • Up to 40 AI replies and 10 debriefs every seven days • Full private history and like-for-like progress on your device Pro is available monthly or yearly. The yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial for eligible customers, and Poised can remind you two days before it renews. The App Store shows the price and renewal terms before you buy. Restore purchases in the app; cancel anytime in Settings. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Speech is transcribed on your device, and microphone audio is never uploaded or saved. Before any rehearsal text leaves your device, Poised asks for your permission: the text you submit is shared with a third-party AI service that writes the replies and coaching, and spoken replies are voiced by Poised's own speech service. You can withdraw permission in Settings at any time. Your rehearsal history stays on your device. No ads, no analytics, no cross-app tracking. Poised is communication-skills coaching for everyday conversations. It is not therapy, medical, legal, emergency, or crisis advice.
