Text recognition runs entirely on your iPhone, and FixFrame looks the fault up in a hand-authored library of error codes across nine major brands: what the code means in plain English, whether it is a do-it-yourself job or a service call, roughly what a callout costs, and the safety step to take first. No code on the display? A guided symptom flow ranks the likely causes instead. Every fix is written from manufacturer service literature and common-repair consensus. Nothing is generated, and FixFrame tells you to stop and call a licensed technician whenever a repair touches gas, mains power or sealed refrigerant, even when that costs it the "you can DIY this" answer.
