As Smart Glasses capable of recording video, audio, and spatial data become more popular devices like Ray-Ban Meta, Apple Vision Pro, Snapchat Spectacles and others, Near gives you a technical tool to detect them. It works by reading the wireless advertising signals that every Smart Glasses passively broadcasts, identifying them by their manufacturer signatures, and alerting you when a known device gets too close. Features Modern radar visualisation for nearby devices Fast and responsive scanning Background Radar Mode for continuous discovery* Device history to revisit previously detected devices Clear signal strength indicators to estimate proximity Privacy-first design your data stays on your device Nearby is built around one simple philosophy: powerful tools should feel effortless. Instead of overwhelming you with technical information, it presents what matters in a clean, thoughtful experience. *Background scanning availability may vary depending on iOS system limitations and permissions.
