HOW MENTAL MATH WORKS IN RECHENFLOW You see a question like 8 × 9 and pick the right answer. You see right away what is correct, and the next question follows. Questions range from small times tables to three-digit numbers across nine difficulty levels. In practice mode the level goes up after three correct answers in a row and down after two mistakes, so it is never too easy or too hard. Available in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Brazilian Portuguese. TIPS FOR FASTER MENTAL MATH Split numbers into easy parts: 48 + 37 is 48 + 30 + 7. Multiply by 5 as half of times 10: 5 × 46 is 460 ÷ 2 = 230. Ten percent is a tenth, so 15 % of 80 is 8 plus half of 8, which is 12. For 9 × 7, think 10 × 7 minus 7. Estimation questions train exactly this sense for size, and the statistics show which operation still costs you time.
