The biggest Pace update since launch Live streams hold up better. Your phone handles heat more intelligently. You can save telemetry clips straight to your camera roll. And your sponsors finally have somewhere to show up. -- NEW -- Give your sponsors some screen time - Sponsors now appear on every session. - Names rotate beneath the video, with bigger sponsors getting more exposure. - In fullscreen, sponsor names appear over the action. - Sponsorships follow the driver, so a parent recording their kid’s session shows the kid’s sponsors. Clip the good stuff - Save a 30-second clip from anywhere in a replay straight to your camera roll. - Telemetry is burned into the video. - Pace shows what it’s creating, how long it should take, and lets you cancel. Better achievement experience - Everything you’ve earned now lives together on your profile. - You can also see every badge still out there to chase. Start with your last setup - Start a new setup from any saved one. - Pace carries over tires, wheels, springs, shocks, ride heights, geometry, panhard, wheelbase, diff, gears and ratio. - Corner weights and notes stay empty because they’re specific to a session or race day. See who’s watching - See how many people are watching live, how many have watched since, and how many caught it live. - These are the same audience numbers shown on the web. You decide when video uploads - Choose whether Pace uploads video on any connection or waits for Wi-Fi. - The setting belongs to the phone, because the data plan does too. Meet more racers - Your Feed can now introduce racers you don’t follow yet. - Follow directly from the card and Pace confirms it before getting out of the way. -- LIVE STREAMING -- Streams fight harder to stay live - Pace now retries every known type of stream disconnect. - That includes cell handoffs while the car is moving and other cases that previously left LIVE showing while nothing was being sent. Pace now manages the heat - Phones in a windscreen can get hot enough to throttle, which was behind streams degrading late in a session. - Pace now reduces bitrate, resolution, screen brightness, camera preview and telemetry load as heat builds. - As the phone cools, quality comes back up. - Your full-quality recording on the phone is untouched. Telemetry now matches what you’re watching - Live telemetry could run ahead of the video because stream delay was being estimated. - Pace now measures the actual delay so the numbers line up with the picture. Show up early. Pace will wait. - Opening a live session before the stream started could leave you stuck on “This stream has ended.” - Pace now waits and picks up the stream as soon as it arrives. -- FIXED -- No more post-session dimming - Once you end a session, the screen stays awake while you name and save it. No more silent audio failures - Microphone problems are now reported instead of silently recording without sound. - The live screen also won’t claim there’s audio when there isn’t. Phone backup means phone backup - When backup is enabled, the recording uploads even if the livestream dies completely. Setup sections stay put - Collapse a section and it stays collapsed. Garage setups need a name - Saving a setup from the Garage now requires a name. Finish times stay finished - Ending a session can no longer overwrite the finish time of one already closed. One bad row can’t break your Feed - The Feed keeps loading if it encounters something it doesn’t recognize. Getting around is cleaner - Tap Feed again to jump back to the top. - Tab presses no longer flash a grey rectangle. Race weekends are easier to spot - The event now sits at the top of a session beside the driver and date.
