GearPost

About

GearPost is the dead-simple rental management app for the independent operator—the single-location rental store, the farm and ag equipment renter, the hardware store with a rental counter. It replaces the paper logbook, the whiteboard calendar, and the shoebox of rental tickets with one app that keeps working even when the internet doesn't. WORKS WITHOUT INTERNET Connectivity in a back lot or rural shop is never guaranteed. GearPost is offline-first: create a rental, check availability, take a deposit, snap condition photos, and print a contract with no signal. Everything syncs automatically the moment you're back online—and you'll always see what's waiting to upload. END DOUBLE BOOKINGS Real-time availability checks every booking against what's already out, instantly and offline. No more whiteboard conflicts. TWO-MINUTE RENTALS Pick a customer, choose dates, add items, take a deposit—done. Scan a barcode to add gear fast. CASH, CHECK & CARD DEPOSITS All three are first-class. Record the method, amount, and check number, then refund, hold, or forfeit on return. Settle deposits with a tap. RETURNS WITH PHOTOS Capture condition photos at checkout and return, log damage, and close out the deposit in one flow. SMS REMINDERS Automatic pickup, return-due, and overdue texts—stop playing phone tag with customers. PRINT CONTRACTS & RECEIPTS Plain-paper PDF contracts to any counter printer, plus Bluetooth thermal receipts. KNOW WHAT EARNS ITS KEEP See revenue, item utilization, top earners, and an overdue list at a glance. IMPORT & EXPORT Bring your existing spreadsheet in to get started in minutes. Export to CSV or QuickBooks for your accountant. BUILT FOR YOUR SHOP • General rental, farm & ag, party/event, and hardware-store rental counters • Designed for work gloves and aging eyes: big buttons, high contrast, one task per screen • Sign in with email, Google, or Apple Start free, upgrade when it's earning its keep.
