Flarewell 2.0: clearer redness levels, flushing, the week ahead, trigger tests and more. CLEAR TO SEVERE The redness scale now reads Clear, Mild, Moderate, Strong, Severe, with a short line that says what each level means. Until now the middle circle was labelled Clear by mistake, while it counted as a flare day. It now says Moderate. Your past entries keep their level. If you used the middle circle on clear-skin days since July, Flarewell lists those days after your next save, so you can switch any of them to Clear with one tap. A CALM DAY IN ONE TAP "Clear day? Save it" logs a calm day in one tap, and the redness scale now fits on the first screen, even on smaller iPhones. The Save button tells you when today is saved. FLUSHING, LOGGED ON ITS OWN "Flushing today?" sits under the redness scale, so waves of heat that come and go are logged apart from the day's redness. Flare SOS counts each flush. THE WEEK AHEAD Tomorrow's flare risk now takes two lines at the top of Today, with the UV and when to protect your skin. Tap it for the reasons, and for the six days after tomorrow with Premium. TEST A TRIGGER Pick something you suspect, skip it for a week, then have it again for a week. Flarewell counts your flare days in each week and tells you plainly what it found. Free. INSIGHTS IN DAYS, NOT AVERAGES Every pattern is now a count of your days, like flare days on 4 of 5 days with red wine and on 8 of 24 days without it. A card only says something may be linked when your days show it. YOUR OWN TRIGGERS AND SYMPTOMS Add anything the lists don't have. Press and hold one to remove it from the list; days you logged keep it. PHOTOS SIDE BY SIDE Tips before the camera, your first photo next to your latest, and a timeline of your photos. "Blur photos until tapped" in Settings keeps them private when you show someone your phone. A CLEARER REPORT FOR YOUR DERMATOLOGIST Clear days, flare days, flushing, burning, eyes, treatments and triggers, each counted out of the days you logged. Choose the period, including since your last visit. SCAN AS MANY PRODUCTS AS YOU LIKE Ingredient scans are now free and unlimited. BACK UP TO A FILE Settings, Your data: keep a copy of your log in Files or iCloud Drive, and restore it on a new iPhone. Restoring only adds what is missing. ALSO Eye safety guidance in the symptom list. Treatment timelines checked against labels and trials. Ingredient checks updated for the EU's longer fragrance allergen list. No limit on your skincare shelf. A day left unsaved at midnight is kept for you to save. "Same as yesterday" for your skincare. Reminders skip days you have already logged. A shorter start for new users. If you start a free trial, Flarewell can remind you two days before it ends. Fixed: days added from memory stay on the right date when you travel. The widget's weekday letters match the days shown. The app always uses light appearance, so text and the Apple Weather mark stay readable.

About
Flarewell checks skincare before it touches your face. Photograph the ingredients list on the back of a product, or paste it from a shop's website. In a few seconds you see whether it suits rosacea and redness-prone skin: which ingredients are best avoided, which to use with care, which tend to help, and what to do next. It reads the standard INCI names printed on packaging, so it works on products from most countries, including ones no barcode database has heard of. WHAT THE SCANNER FLAGS Ingredients that widen blood vessels, such as denatured alcohol, menthol and camphor. Fragrance and the fragrance allergens EU law requires on labels. Essential oils, harsh detergents, irritating preservatives, strong acids and scrubs. It tells you when a sunscreen uses only mineral filters, the kind least likely to sting, and when a worrying-sounding ingredient like cetyl alcohol is actually fine. YOUR PRODUCTS, YOUR REACTIONS Every scan is saved. Mark each product as fine or irritating, and Flarewell shows which ingredients your irritating products have in common, then warns you when a new product contains one of them. Compare two products side by side, or share a result. CONNECTED TO YOUR SKIN LOG Rate your redness in about 20 seconds and tick the products you used. Flarewell shows whether your skin tends to be redder on days you use products with a particular ingredient, and how your skin has changed from one fortnight to the next. These are patterns in your own records, not proof of cause. When a flare starts, Flare SOS shows what went on your skin that day. TOMORROW'S WEATHER, MATCHED TO YOUR TRIGGERS UV, heat and humidity are among the most commonly reported rosacea triggers. Flarewell shows tomorrow's conditions next to the triggers you told it about, so you can plan sun protection ahead. TREATMENTS AND YOUR DERMATOLOGIST Track how often you use a prescribed cream or tablet, see how long each typically takes before its effect is clear, and export a PDF report with your products and patterns to bring to your appointment. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your logs, photos, scans and products stay on your iPhone. There is no account and no sign in. Label photos are read on the device and never uploaded. Flarewell can read your sleep hours from Apple Health if you allow it, and never writes to Health. Weather comes from Apple Weather using your approximate location. FREE AND PREMIUM Free: 3 ingredient scans, your saved products and reactions, unlimited daily logging, the weather view, your starting trigger profile, the two week trend summary and treatment tracking. Premium: unlimited scans, the ingredients your irritating products share, ingredient and trigger insights from your own log, unlimited history and the PDF report. Monthly or yearly. The yearly plan includes a 7 day free trial for eligible new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in your Apple ID settings. Flarewell is a personal tracking tool.
