About
Vibr is a Pomodoro timer for vibe coders, developers and PMs who jump between projects all day. It lives in your menu bar. No giant window stealing your screen, no browser tab to lose. Just a clean countdown that tells you when to focus and when to breathe. — THE VIBE — Built around one principle: productivity tools should respect that you already have 12 windows open. Terminal-inspired dark UI, JetBrains Mono everywhere, signal-only orange. Minimal by design. — HOW IT WORKS — 1. Pick 2-3 tasks for your next 25-minute focus session 2. Hit Start Vibr. The timer moves to the menu bar. 3. Work. The countdown is there if you need to glance. 4. Bell rings. Take a 5-minute break. 5. Repeat. Stack pomos. End the day with real stats. — FEATURES — • Menu bar timer that ticks even with the window closed • Tasks organized by Project as tags (no hierarchy, no kanban) • Today list for daily focus plus persistent To Do for everything else • Move tasks between To Do, Today and Done with one click • Search across all tasks by title • Rich text descriptions per task: bold, italic, underline, links, lists • Paste screenshots directly into a task description • Detach any task into a resizable standalone window • Repeat task: recreates an open copy automatically when you complete it • Quick links per task: paste a GitHub PR URL, click to open • Custom Pomodoro durations (5 to 90 min focus, 1 to 30 min break) • Long break every Nth pomo (default 4), configurable • Sound notifications at focus and break end • End of Day report: time per project, pomos done, carryover tasks • Native Apple performance, around 4 MB on disk • Light and dark appearance respected • 10 languages, auto-detected from system • Apple Watch companion: glance at the timer on your wrist — SYNC — Tasks, projects and pomos sync between your devices via iCloud. Private, encrypted, no third-party servers. Your identity is your Apple ID. No signup, no password. — PRIVACY — Your data stays on your device and in your iCloud. We don't have analytics tracking individual users. We don't have an ad SDK. We don't see your tasks. Period. — BUILT FOR — • Developers shipping multiple side projects • Designers context-switching between client work • Indie hackers running a portfolio of bets • Anyone who wants to feel the focus without configuring 47 fields — WHAT IT'S NOT — Not a task manager replacing Things or Todoist. Not a Kanban board. Not collaborative. Not a time-tracking SaaS. It's a Pomodoro timer that respects your aesthetic and gets out of the way. Built by a vibe coder, for vibe coders.
