About

The visitor center closed 10 minutes before you arrived — never again. And every park you've ever visited, remembered for you. Stamp Rescue is the passport-stamp companion for anyone chasing National Park Service cancellation stamps. We've mapped 1,015 stamp stations across 474 national parks, monuments, historic sites, seashores, and other NPS units — with real, station-level hours, not just a park's general operating hours. Now it also builds your visit history automatically and turns your park photos into your own collectible stamps. REAL HOURS, NOT GUESSES Most map apps show you a pin. We show you whether that visitor center, campground kiosk, or trading post is actually open right now — because a stamp station keeps its own hours, separate from the park gate. Of the stations with confirmed hours, 9 in 10 close by 5pm, often hours before the park itself does. OPEN NOW & CLOSING SOON See which stations are open at this exact moment, and get an early warning when one is about to close, so you're not the person at the locked door at 4:31pm. PLAN A MULTI-PARK STAMP RUN Road-tripping through several parks in a day or a week? Build a route across multiple parks and stations, laid out in the order that actually makes sense for your trip. YOUR VISIT LOG BUILDS ITSELF (new) Tap once and Stamp Rescue reads the dates and locations already saved in your photos to reconstruct every national park you've visited — automatically, in seconds. No typing, no manual check-ins. It all happens ON YOUR DEVICE: your photos are never uploaded, and only you can see the result. Each visit shows the photos and videos you took there, grouped by park and trip. MAKE YOUR OWN PHOTO STAMP (new) The real cancellation stamp is ink on paper — go get it at the station. But now you can also make a stamp that's entirely yours: turn a photo you took in the park into a beautiful collectible "Photo Stamp." Choose from vintage-poster, collector-card, modern-badge, and postmark templates, dozens of hand-tuned looks (watercolor, WPA poster, cyanotype, misty ridgeline and more), your park name and visit date baked in — then save it to your photos, share it, or keep it in your in-app collection. Everything renders offline on your phone; no AI, no waiting. CLOSURE ALERTS FROM THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE Stamp Rescue syncs park alerts and closures from NPS public data daily, so you can see road and facility closures that might affect your stamp run before you leave home. COMMUNITY-VERIFIED DATA When hours are wrong, a station has moved, or a stamp is missing, collectors can submit a report, and verified corrections keep the map accurate for the next person. Stamp Rescue is an independent, fan-made companion app for national park passport stamp collectors. It is not produced by, affiliated with, or endorsed by the National Park Service or the U.S. Department of the Interior, and we do not reproduce official cancellation-stamp artwork. Always confirm hours with the park before you travel, especially for stations marked as unverified.
