Promotional text “See if your websites are online right on your Home Screen. Beautiful widgets. Uptime history and alerts. No account, no tracking.”

New version 1.1 → 1.5

Big update! New in 1.5: - The traffic light on the widget is a real lamp now, rendered from the app's own mark, lit green, red or amber instead of a flat dot. Both traffic-light looks use it. - Settings shows every widget look as a working miniature, three to a row, so you pick by looking at it rather than reading a label. - On iPad your sites lay out as a card grid instead of a stretched list. - Every site now keeps a visible history: the last checks with their status, response time and HTTP result. - Lock Screen widgets, circular and rectangular, plus a refresh button on the medium and large sizes and an optional dark widget background. - Shorter, plainer wording on the full-version screen. The widget: - It runs the checks, not just the display. Close the app for a week and the tile still knows. - Green means the site answered, red means it did not. The old amber "slow" state is gone: response time is a number in the app, not a color to decode. - Amber now means one thing only, that your phone has no signal, so a dead connection never reads as every site being down. Down alerts: - A notification when a site goes down, so you are not the last to know - Quiet hours, so a 3am blip does not wake you - Mute a single site for 15 minutes, an hour, or until tomorrow, for when you already know it is down and are fixing it - Alerts can be switched off per site, or entirely Green only when it is really up: - A site can answer 200 and still be broken: a database error, a blank deploy, a domain parked on an ad page. Tell Semaphor the exact status code you expect and a word that has to be on the page, and a site that lies to you reads red instead of green. - The widget applies the same rule, so the tile and the app never disagree. Certificates: - How many days are left on a site's certificate, and who issued it - A warning 14 days out and again 3 days out, so the one outage you can actually see coming does not arrive as a browser warning on a Monday morning Uptime you can send someone: - Uptime over 7 and 30 days, total downtime, the longest outage and the average response, per site and across all of them - One tap shares it as plain text Everything else: - Semaphor now installs on iOS 17 and later, instead of iOS 26 and later - All five widget looks are free - Semaphor is free for three sites, with every alert, every check interval, every widget size and every look included. Watching more, expected status and page text, certificate warnings and the uptime report are one payment, once, with nothing to cancel. Thanks for using Semaphor.
