About

Qura'an is a calm, clear app that brings together what a Muslim needs every day: the Holy Mushaf, prayer times and adhan, the Qibla direction, adhkar and duas, and a tasbeeh counter. THE HOLY MUSHAF • The complete Mushaf: all 604 pages in Uthmani script. • Recitations by several reciters, with tafsir. • Search for a surah or an ayah, add bookmarks, and pick up reading where you left off. • A khatmah plan that spreads the pages across your days, and a night mode for reading. PRAYER TIMES AND ADHAN • Prayer times for 197 countries and more than 540 cities, using each country's customary calculation method. • One adhan for Fajr and another for the other prayers, in several voices and maqams, with a reminder before each prayer. • A monthly prayer timetable. QIBLA AND ADHKAR • A compass that points to the Qibla. • Morning and evening adhkar to read or listen to, and duas from the Quran and Sunnah. • A digital tasbeeh counter. ON ALL YOUR DEVICES • Home Screen widgets for prayer times, in three designs. • An Apple Watch app with watch face complications. • Four app colors and an interface in 22 languages. The text of the Holy Quran is in Arabic. AN ONGOING CHARITY This app was made as an ongoing charity (sadaqah jariyah) for the soul of my late father, in the hope that Allah makes it a beneficial deed and a good legacy that never ends. For every recitation, every remembrance and every reminder of good, we ask Allah to let its reward reach the soul of my father, Salim Al Khouli, and to place it in the scale of his good deeds. We ask you to pray for him: for mercy and forgiveness, that Allah grants him a place in His vast gardens and reunites us with him in the abode of His mercy. O Allah, have abundant mercy on my father, forgive him, raise his rank, and make this work a light for him and a reward that never ends.
