Blizu: Meet People Nearby

About

Blizu - for the life happening around you. Your city is full of people you haven’t met yet. Blizu helps you find the ones nearby who are actually open to connecting. Start a live scan and discover compatible people in your immediate surroundings - whether you’re new in the city, looking for friends, at an event, building your network, or simply open to meeting someone new. When the interest is mutual, you connect. And if you’re wondering what to do next, Blizu can also show you things happening nearby, so a match can turn into an actual plan. No endless feed. No algorithm deciding who you should meet. You choose your filters, you decide when to scan, and Blizu only shows people who are nearby and compatible with what you’re looking for. Why Blizu? People nearby, right now Discover people who are physically close instead of profiles from across the city. Something to do together Explore nearby events and activities and turn a new connection into a real-life plan. Mutual by design Both people choose whether they want to connect. A conversation only starts when the interest goes both ways. You stay in control You choose your filters, when you appear, and when you want to connect. No hidden ranking algorithm decides who you see. Your exact location stays private Others can see that you’re nearby, but never your precise location. You only appear while you’re actively scanning. Reveal yourself on your terms Your name and photos can stay hidden until you choose to share them. Built for real life Matches expire after 5 hours because Blizu is designed for spontaneous connections, not collecting profiles you may never meet. Blizu is for adults 18+. Reporting and blocking tools are available throughout the app.
