Roots is a word game for people who have a test to pass and hate rote memorization. Word tiles fall from the top of the screen. Tap the right meaning before a tile lands. Wrong or late answers pile up, and five in the pile ends the stage. Every stage is 10 words and takes about two minutes, so you can fit a round in on the train or before bed. An additional world has 600 words for TOEIC vocabulary practice. Clear a stage to unlock the next, and earn stars, XP, and levels as you go. ROOTY, YOUR AI COACH Missed a word? Ask Rooty right from the results screen. Rooty explains how to remember it, gives another example sentence, quizzes you, and shows the word roots (in = "into", ject = "throw") when they help. REVIEW THAT FOLLOWS THE FORGETTING CURVE Every word you play is saved to your wordbook together with your correct and missed answers. Spaced repetition schedules words for regular review.
