ProsCons Decision Maker

About

PREMIUM — PURCHASE REQUIRED: All features described below are part of Pro and require a purchase: a weekly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Should you take the job? Move cities? Sign the lease? When a decision keeps circling in your head, ProsCons gets it out of your head and onto a scale: write down every pro and every con, weight each one from 1 to 5, and watch the totals show which way your own reasoning actually leans. No spinning wheels, no coin flips. ProsCons is a structured decision maker for choices that matter. The scoring is fully transparent — pros minus cons, margin as a share of total weight — and the app shows you the exact formula, so the verdict is arithmetic on your own thinking, never a black box or a guess. WHAT YOU GET • A verdict in plain words — "Clear yes", "Lean toward no", or "Too close to call" when the sides genuinely balance • Weighted pros and cons lists, where one 5-point con about your family outweighs three 1-point perks • Compare mode: score several options against the criteria you choose in a weighted decision matrix — Flat A vs Flat B vs staying put • Ready-made templates for job offers, big purchases, moving cities, relationships, and new projects • A decision journal: mark what you chose, then log how it turned out — worked out, mixed, or regret • Insights that show your yes/no lean, your outcome record, and which areas of life you decide on most PERFECT FOR • Anyone stuck on a should-I question that lists in their head never settle • Overthinkers who circle the same choice for weeks and want it settled on paper • Couples and friends weighing a move, a purchase, or a plan together on one screen • Journalers who want a record of past decisions and how they really turned out WHY NOT JUST USE A NOTES APP? A note holds two columns; it cannot weigh them. In ProsCons every entry carries the importance you give it, the math is shown line by line, and the verdict updates as you type. Months later you can look back and see whether "went for it" actually worked out — something no scribbled T-chart will ever tell you. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Your dilemmas stay on your iPhone. Decisions are stored on-device, there is no account to create, and nothing you write is uploaded anywhere. PREMIUM (PURCHASE REQUIRED) ProsCons requires an active plan. One plan unlocks everything: Compare mode with the weighted matrix, every template, and the full Insights dashboard. Choose the Weekly or Yearly auto-renewing subscription, or the one-time Lifetime purchase. Stop rehearsing the same argument in the shower — write it down, weigh it, and decide today.
