Crest Heraldry Builder

About

Coat of Arms & Family Crest turns a blank shield into a real coat of arms — and writes the blazon for you while you build it. Most "crest makers" are logo apps with a shield-shaped template. This app is heraldry. Every tincture, ordinary and charge is drawn from the real vocabulary of arms, the live preview updates the moment you change a choice, and the rule of tincture warns you the instant you put colour on colour or metal on metal. When you save, you do not just get a picture — you get a shield that can be described in the language a herald would use. WHAT YOU GET • A finished coat of arms in minutes: pick a field, an ordinary, a charge and a motto, and watch the escutcheon render live • Correct blazon, written automatically, for every design — so your arms can be read, spoken and reproduced by anyone who knows heraldry • Designs that hold up to scrutiny: the rule of tincture flags forbidden colour combinations before you save • A head start from history: open twelve classic arms — England, Scotland, the Templars, Habsburg, Savoy, Venice and more — and make any of them your own • The meaning behind every choice: nine tinctures, eight ordinaries and twenty charges, each with its traditional symbolism, in a searchable glossary • An armory of your own: save, search, sort, edit and share every shield you create PERFECT FOR • Families who want personal arms with a motto that actually means something • Game masters and writers building the heraldry of a fantasy house, guild or kingdom • Students and history lovers who want to understand what a blazon says • Anyone who has ever stared at a coat of arms and wondered what the lion, the chevron and the gold stand for WHY NOT JUST USE A LOGO MAKER? A logo maker gives you a shield outline and a clip-art lion. It cannot tell you that a lion rampant Or on a field gules is correct while argent on Or is not, and it will never write the blazon. This app is built on the rules of heraldry, so what you design is a coat of arms, not a badge that looks like one. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Your shields are stored on your device. This app has no account, no sign-in, no tracking and no advertising. Nothing you design leaves your phone unless you choose to share it. FULL ACCESS This app requires a subscription or a one-time purchase after the introduction. Choose a weekly plan, a yearly plan or a lifetime purchase. Every plan unlocks the same complete app: the builder, automatic blazon, the classic library, the glossary and unlimited saved shields. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase, and you can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings at any time. Open the Builder, choose azure for your field, add a lion Or, and read your first blazon.
