About

Check your heart rate with nothing but a fingertip and your phone's rear camera. No chest strap, no smartwatch, no band to charge — rest your finger over the camera and flash, hold still for 20 seconds, and read your BPM. Most pulse apps stop at the number. This one turns single readings into a picture you can actually use: tag each measurement as Resting, Exercise, Recovery, or Stress, and your resting heart rate builds into a 30-day trend line — the one number that quietly tells you whether your fitness is improving or your body is under load. If your finger won't cooperate, a Tap Counter mode lets you find your pulse at the wrist or neck and tap along instead; the app averages your taps into a steady BPM. WHAT YOU GET - A pulse reading in 20 seconds using only the rear camera and flash (fingertip PPG) - A Tap Counter backup that turns taps into an averaged BPM, no camera required - Every reading saved with a tag, a note, a time stamp and its heart-rate band - A 30-day resting heart rate trend chart that shows whether you're climbing or calming - A distribution chart of your readings across Very Low, Low, Normal, Elevated and High - Moderate and vigorous exercise zones calculated from your age (Tanaka 208 - 0.7 x age) PERFECT FOR - Runners and gym-goers who want resting heart rate and recovery tracked without a wearable - Anyone curious whether stress, caffeine or bad sleep is showing up in their pulse - People who want a quick pulse check before a doctor's visit or after a workout - Beginners who want plain-English guidance on what a normal heart rate actually is WHY NOT JUST COUNT BEATS WITH A STOPWATCH? Counting beats for 15 seconds and multiplying gives you a rough number and nothing else. It doesn't remember yesterday, it can't tell a resting reading from a post-run one, and it never shows you a trend. Here, every measurement is dated, tagged, banded and plotted, so a month of readings becomes a line you can read at a glance. The built-in Learn section explains how fingertip PPG works, what's normal by age, and when a pattern is worth showing a doctor — with sources from the American Heart Association, Mayo Clinic and the original Tanaka paper. PRIVACY Every reading is stored on your device only. No account, no sign-up, no cloud, no ads, no tracking, and no camera frames are ever recorded or uploaded — the camera image is analysed for brightness in the moment and discarded. Works fully offline. FULL ACCESS Premium unlocks the History tab (unlimited saved readings, tag filters, lowest/average/highest stats and per-reading detail) and the Insights tab (30-day resting HR trend chart, reading distribution chart and age-tuned exercise zones). Available as a weekly plan, a yearly plan, or a one-time lifetime purchase — pick the one that suits you and use everything the app offers. NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE This app is for fitness and wellness awareness only. It does not diagnose, detect, treat or monitor any medical condition, and a fingertip camera cannot reliably detect an irregular heart rhythm. Always talk to a qualified clinician about your health. Take your first reading tonight, tag it Resting, and repeat it at the same time tomorrow — your trend line starts on day two.
