Pixel-Strip-Tester is RFevents’ professional tool for configuring and testing DMX LED strips on site over sACN (E1.31). Built for installers and crew: work on the floor with your iPhone on the same network as your sACN receiver. No laptop needed to quickly verify patch, color order, and pixel count. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Manage strips – name, pixel count, universe, start address, RGB or RGBW • Color order – pick the right order (RGB, GRB, etc.) for your hardware • Controllers – link IP address and universe of your sACN node • Validate – light the full strip or step through pixel by pixel • Highlight – find the right strip on the floor (on/off with a clear banner) • Test patterns – snake, RGB test, solid color, combinations • Blackout – turn everything off instantly with clear on-screen status • Projects – save your setup, load later, export/import JSON • Widget – quick blackout or start test from the Home Screen • Universe overview – see how your patch is split at a glance • Language – English and Dutch; follows your iPhone language or choose in Settings SETTINGS • Keep screen awake during testing • sACN priority, speed, and maximum brightness • Default color order for new strips NETWORK The app only sends sACN packets over your local network. Your iPhone and the sACN receiver must be on the same network. Allow local network access when iOS asks. The universe in the app is the DMX/sACN universe on your receiver — they must match. PRIVACY Data stays on your iPhone. No account, no tracking, no upload to RFevents. See the privacy policy at rf-events.nl. Features & Improvements - Snake Test now runs through all test strips in patch order. - Adjustable test speed using a 0-100% percentage slider. - Test settings can be edited while a test is running. - Added Highlight Full Strip (formerly Identify). - Improved sACN behavior: - Automatic refresh rate. - Stops output when the app moves to the background. - Automatic network change detection. - Improved button behavior and keyboard handling in forms. Fixes - Starting a test now keeps the app on the Test tab instead of returning to Strips. - Fixed the Color Order picker when adding or editing a strip. - Updated the About screen to refer to devices being on the same network instead of Wi-Fi only.
