Klyptra is a Pomodoro timer built for one very specific person: the developer who lives inside Claude Code. Claude Code runs on a rolling 5-hour usage window. Nothing kills flow like a 25-minute focus cycle that gets cut off mid-thought because the window reset 15 minutes in. Klyptra reads the window right off your Mac and plans around it. ELASTIC MODE (the point of the app) Tap start and Klyptra computes a plan that exactly fills the time left in your live Claude window — your preferred cycle lengths, gently resized, with any remainder folded into the final work cycle. No orphaned minutes, no cycle sliced in half by the lockout. BOUNCER MODE — classic fixed cycles that refuse to start a work block the window can't finish, with a one-tap "shorten to fit." MACRO MODE — the whole window as one deep-work session with a 5-minute micro-break every 50 minutes. ON YOUR IPHONE - The live window countdown syncs over iCloud — absolute dates, so the timer stays correct even when sync lags - Alarms for every cycle boundary, even when your phone is silenced - Works fully standalone if you never pair a Mac WITH THE MAC COMPANION - Lives in the menu bar: timer ring, plan preview, live "window resets in…" countdown - Reads your Claude Code activity locally, read-only, from the folder you grant - Optional weekly usage line with a soft budget banner (informational only) PRIVATE BY DESIGN Transcripts never leave your Mac.
