About
Please note: The app is in Japanese only, and its forecasts and alerts cover locations in Japan. "Is today going to be a rough one?" Kiatsu Alert gently lets you know in the morning. Changes in air pressure can play a big part in how you feel, not only if you get headaches but also if you deal with dizziness, a floaty feeling, joint pain, stiff shoulders, fatigue, or morning sickness. Kiatsu Alert rates pressure changes on a five-level scale (Calm, Mild, Moderate, Caution, Danger) and shows today's trend, the level for morning, afternoon, and evening, and a weekly forecast at a glance. ■ Five levels The level combines how high the pressure is, how fast it is falling, and which way it is moving, shown for morning, afternoon, and evening. A short summary sums up the day, such as "calm in the morning, dropping from midday." ■ Pressure chart See today's pressure on a chart, and tap it to see the reading at any hour. Switch to "24h" to see from 2 hours ago to 24 hours ahead. Swipe to look back 30 days or ahead 5 days. Past days combine recorded readings with that day's forecast, so there are fewer gaps. ■ Weekly forecast (up to 5 days ahead) Each day's level with a small pressure chart. Tap a day for morning, afternoon, and evening levels, temperature, weather, and how much the pressure swings. ■ Tuned to you After five "Bad" entries, the app learns how the pressure was falling on the days you felt unwell and adjusts the levels to your sensitivity. ■ Private health log Log each day as Good, Okay, or Bad. Logging good days too helps you see the link with pressure. On tough days, note the time, pain level, where it hurts, symptoms, and medicine. Pick areas from the head, neck, shoulders, back, joints, and limbs, and symptoms such as nausea, dizziness, a floaty feeling, ringing in the ears, and fatigue. Look back in a calendar. Your log is never shown to other users. ■ Community timeline Connect with others who are sensitive to the weather. Share how you are doing or what helps, send likes and comments, and follow people to get notified when they post. ■ Notifications The "Next-day pressure alert" arrives at 6 p.m. (Japan time) only before a big pressure drop. The "Morning forecast" tells you the day's level at a time you choose. Pick the alert location from 60 locations across Japan, by prefecture and then area, and change or turn it off anytime in Settings. ■ Home and away Switch between your current location and a chosen prefecture with one tap. Pin your home or reuse recent places when traveling in Japan. ■ Tips Short facts about pressure and your body, such as "1013 hPa is the standard pressure." Tap for the next one. [Who it's for] - People who get headaches before the weather turns - People who feel dizzy or unwell on low-pressure days - Pregnant people whose morning sickness seems to follow the pressure - People whose joints or old injuries ache when the pressure changes - People who struggle in the rainy season, typhoon season, or when seasons change - People who want to see how the pressure and their health are connected [Privacy] - Your health log is never shown to other users - Your location is used only to pick the nearest forecast point and your prefecture - Works without location access (shows Tokyo; pick another prefecture yourself) - No sign-up needed. Completely free - Delete your account anytime in Settings (posts, log, and images are all removed) [Disclaimer] The forecasts in this app are not a medical diagnosis. They show general trends based on air pressure data and cannot guarantee whether or not you will have symptoms. If you feel unwell, please see a doctor. Weather data comes from OpenWeather. Accuracy depends on the provider and may differ from actual measurements by location and time. Go easy on yourself through the ups and downs of the pressure.
