About
Foray turns going out into a record of how far you've come. Built for people with agoraphobia and anxiety, and useful for anyone who wants to see how far they go, how long they're out, and how it felt. When you step outside a small circle around home, Foray quietly starts a foray. It keeps your route, distance and time out while your phone stays in your pocket. When you're back, you get a calm summary and your personal bests, growing with you. GENTLE TOOLS FOR HARD MOMENTS • Heading Home: a full-screen arrow pointing back, with a one-tap "I'm Safe" button • Breathe: a simple paced breathing circle • Start, end or cancel a foray yourself any time • Pin safe spots on the map, places you trust • Someone to tell: one tap fills in an "I'm out" text to a person you trust, and "Home safe" when you're back. You always press Send yourself. • Apple Watch: start a foray, Heading Home, Breathe with taps on your wrist, and "I'm safe", with the phone in your pocket YOUR PROGRESS • Your route on the map, live while you're out • The numbers that matter, big: how far from home, time out, your farthest ever • Journeys: every foray sorted by farthest, longest or most recent, with search • Name each foray, and note how it felt • Places to try at a distance you choose • Your week at a glance, with no streak to break • Ask Siri or Shortcuts "how far did I go this week" CHAPTERS Setbacks happen. Start a new chapter when you want a fresh slate. Past forays stay in the chapter you closed, browsable any time, without counting against your current records. FORAY+ (OPTIONAL) • Exposure ladder: list the situations that feel hard, rate them 0 to 100, and climb them easiest first. A matching foray asks if it counted, and re-rating shows how much easier things have become. Your first 3 steps are free. • Anxiety before and after each foray, with a chart that shows it easing • A one-page summary for your therapist (no map, no places) • Patterns: time of day, day of week, distance bands • Weekly minimums: a floor for forays, distance and time out each week, gentle by default • Goals, with a notification when you reach them • Live Activity, Dynamic Island and a home-screen widget • Unlimited safe spots and chapters • Apple Health: forays saved as walking workouts $1.99 a month or $9.99 a year, both with a 14-day free trial, or $19.99 once for life with Family Sharing. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Your history stays on your iPhone and backs up to your own private iCloud • No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no third-party trackers • Light on battery: Foray only runs GPS while you're out Foray will never paywall the tools you might need in a rough moment. Heading Home, Breathe, manual control, tracking, mood and notes, Journeys, the Apple Watch app, texts to someone you trust and iCloud backup are always free. In English, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), German and French. — Foray is not medical advice or treatment. If you're struggling, please talk to a healthcare professional.
