Flytrap Care: Pitcher & Sundew

About

Stop guessing whether your Venus flytrap needs more sun or whether your Nepenthes is ready for feeding. Flytrap Care gives you a daily score based on your local weather, your species, and your specific setup. Every carnivorous plant keeper knows the frustration: a routine that worked last month suddenly causes leaf rot, or your sundew stops producing dew. The reasons sit in environmental data — humidity, photoperiod, temperature swings, dormancy cues — that nobody wants to track manually every day. HOW IT WORKS 1. Add your plant: species, container type, location (indoor/outdoor/bog), growing media. 2. Flytrap Care pulls your local weather and runs species-specific care math. 3. You get a daily care score with the exact action — water now, mist twice, hold off feeding, or trigger dormancy prep. Under a minute to set up. No account required. CORE FEATURES Daily Care Score A single number plus verdict — GO, CAUTION, or HOLD — built on Magnus humidity math, photoperiod calculation, and species-specific dormancy thresholds. Species Library 7 carnivorous plants supported: Venus flytrap (Dionaea muscipula), Sarracenia (North American pitcher), Drosera capensis and Drosera spatulata (sundews), Pinguicula (butterwort), Nepenthes maxima and Nepenthes ventrata (tropical pitchers), and Cephalotus (Australian pitcher). Single-Plant Tracking Add one plant, see today's score, read the core reason line. Free forever.
