Living with celiac disease means every meal out comes with a moment of worry — will they understand? Will the kitchen take it seriously? My Celiac Card puts a clear, unmistakable message in front of anyone who needs to know, in their own language, in seconds. I built this app for my daughter, who has celiac disease. Watching her navigate restaurants, bars, and unfamiliar countries — explaining her condition over and over, hoping it was taken seriously — made me want to build something that could speak for her clearly, instantly, and with dignity. She's my first tester on everything, and if it helps her, I hope it helps your family too. When you're standing at a bar or handing your phone to a waiter, every second counts. Speaks your language, and theirs On-device translation switches your card into the local language with a tap — no internet required, no waiting, no awkward Google Translate screenshots. Read aloud Let your phone say it for you when reading aloud is easier than showing a screen. Clear, honest detail Each card has a "More" screen breaking down exactly what you can and can't eat or drink — organised, scannable, no dense paragraphs to decipher under pressure. Built with care, not assumptions Not every disability is visible. This app exists so no one has to explain themselves from scratch every single time.
