flicker is a small companion for the quiet hours. Tiny fireflies on a black screen. Type whatever's keeping you up. Letters appear briefly, then fade. Nothing saved unless you tap 'keep'. The 3am app. inside, three things: — write one line. fold it into a paper firefly. let it go. up to three a day, or unlock unlimited. — receive letters. short fragments drift to you while you're here. catch them, write back, or let them go. — a nightlight by your bed. tap to enter, tap to leave. at the next local midnight, today's letters dissolve. the words you wrote leave with them. — the words you write don't leave your phone. no servers, no accounts, no analytics, no tracking. (the only network call flicker makes is to Apple, when you buy the unlock.) — in this version, every received letter is generated locally on your device by a deterministic engine. there is no other user behind them. if a future version connects real strangers, you'll be told first. — long-press any letter to report it. reports remove the letter immediately. settings → "close account & wipe data" erases every byte flicker has on your device.
