Tax Summary now works by tax year. A single Tax Year picker at the top of the screen scopes your whole summary, both mileage and inventory, to the year you're filing. During tax season it even defaults to last year, since that's the return you're probably working on. The inventory section is now the number your accountant actually wants if you use the cost average method: items purchased and cost of purchases for the selected year (your cost-of-goods-sold input), plus your average cost per item as of the year's end so you can value your inventory at the year boundary.

About
ThriftLift turns every thrift store receipt into a tax deduction, automatically. If you resell on Poshmark, eBay, Depop, or Mercari, you're already making business trips. ThriftLift tracks the miles you drive and the inventory you buy so tax season stops being a scramble. SNAP A RECEIPT, SKIP THE SPREADSHEET Point your camera at any receipt and let ThriftLift do the rest. It reads the store name, date, and every line item, applies discounts to the right items, combines tax lines, and flags anything that needs a second look. Multi-page receipts, duplicate items across pages, and totals that don't quite add up are all handled. Email receipts from online purchases or real estate / tag sale scores can also be sent to ThriftLift. Receipts can also be manually created for purchases where no receipt was provided. TRACK EVERY DEDUCTIBLE MILE ThriftLift uses the receipt data to automatically calculate your round-trip mileage using Google Maps and the IRS standard mileage rate. Store visits are automatically grouped into one trip by date, and ordered by time to produce an accurate mileage estimate. At tax time, export a clean CSV mileage log — one row per trip, ready for your accountant. CELEBRATE YOUR HAULS WITH SOURCING RECAPS About once a month, after you've logged a couple of trips, ThriftLift wraps your recent sourcing into a beautiful, shareable recap: a one-of-a-kind illustration inspired by what you actually bought, your trip and item counts, what you invested, and the mileage deduction those trips earned. Swipe between a vertical story and a feed post, then share the one you're looking at to Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook in one tap. Turn on notifications and your phone pings you the moment a new recap is ready. TWO INVENTORY COST METHODS Choose Average Cost for a simple running average across all your purchases, or FIFO for lot-by-lot tracking preferred by resellers who want precise cost-of-goods-sold records. Switch methods anytime. TAX SUMMARY IN ONE TAP Your Dashboard keeps a live tally of miles, spending, items, and estimated deductions. The Tax Summary screen pulls it all together for filing. BUILT FOR RESELLERS ON THE GO - Scan single or multi-page receipts with your iPhone camera - Edit items and totals inline before saving - Auto-detect stores you've visited; add new ones in seconds - Set your home location by ZIP, address, or GPS - Share monthly sourcing recaps with your reseller community ThriftLift keeps your sourcing trips organized so you can focus on the find, not the paperwork. --- ThriftLift Premium is an auto-renewable subscription. - Length: 1 month - Price: see the in-app purchase screen for current pricing in your region - Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase - Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period - Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period - Subscriptions can be managed and auto-renewal turned off in your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Privacy Policy: https://branchvillelabs.com/thriftlift/privacy.html
